Recruitment process
At Intact Insurance, the Talent Acquisition team want to ensure that we provide an excellent candidate experience and enable our recruitment process to be fair to all. We intend to drive ownership and accountability at different stages of the recruitment process. We will uphold everyone internally involved in the process of filling a job vacancy, across all business units to work towards our candidate promise. This will allow us to demonstrate the progress of each stage of our hiring process, proposed timelines for action, and for the assigned party to fulfil the agreement at every given point.
Steps to follow:
- Apply for the chosen role with Intact Insurance on our careers website
- Candidate will receive confirmation of their application from our Talent Acquisition Team
- Talent Acquisition Team will conduct pre-screening of the application
- Talent Acquisition Team will share candidates who have successfully passed their pre-screening with Hiring Manager
- Hiring Manager creates a shortlist of candidates for interview stage
- Candidates will be updated by our Talent Acquisition Team of the outcome of their application.
- Talent Acquisition Team will engage with candidates directly regarding the interview process and will make the interview arrangements
- Feedback post interview will be shared directly with the candidate by Talent Acquisition Team
- Once successful an offer will be extended directly to the candidate
- Onboarding process will begin and pre-employment checks will be completed
- Successful candidates will be welcomed by their new manager who will inform them about their starting arrangements and first week
